Sun Garden, Taman Botani Putrajaya

We wanted to surprise you. Once you come to the summit of the hill, you see a big crater. Aren't you surprised? You look up at the bottom of the crater, you see only the sky, so it was called "Sky Garden" during the design and construction. As we designed this garden something to do with the "time" collecting plants that bloom in the morning, that release fragrance in the evening, that react with the movement of the Sun, more academic but romantic name; "Sun Garden” was given by the renowned botanist, Dr. Francis Ng. Cycads along the stairway are "living fossil" which have been surviving since 200 million year ago witnessing the emergence and extinction of dinosaurs, also relating with the "time". The original design intention was to display orchids on the clay pipe wall, so that the most advanced plant family; Orchid, meet with the most primitive plant family; Cycad, and then you think of tomorrow which direction is pointed by the resemblance; the obelisk.
