Tropical plants have only three sources of origin i.e. Africa, South America and Asia/ Pacific, and this garden is the specimen collection of plants from Africa. By the time of our design exercise, Kashino had visited Africa in two occasions only, so he added his imagination to his experience for an African expression. Generous undulation of mounds was quite a key to the African land, together with red laterite road surface. A simplicity turns to be a richness that may translate to "Zen" in different scenario, but in this case is Africa. This picture is the view from "African toilet" toward the African garden.
