Company logo

The very first company logo of Aroma Tropics has been forgotten. However, the second logo shown here was invented based on the first one which had been manually drawn by members when ever necessary, such as when preparing a business card (manually) or writing a  letter (manually). The idea of the logo was to express a good easy tropical environment by the curved/ slant alignment with some coconut leaves.

We decided to establish a more professional company logo some time early part of the century for a recognition  among the potential clients. Having conducted an internal design competition for the new logo in which the winner gained an award in cash, our logo became more dominant with the enhanced image of the original concept. The slant and curve was now smoother in hand-drawn touch with dual colours that differentiated the trunk and the leaf of the coconut.

Here had come to the era of the fourth company logo in 2011. We began to feel the image of our existing logo (above) not quite serious but too easy, playful, tropical in evasive sense, and not ultimately suitable for the current stance of Aroma Tropics that aimed survival in very much business field, as no more Putrajaya type of public open space would be developed for our participation. The new font alignment is straight, because we want to go at the landscape practice head-on. The leaf is now substituted from Coconut to Kapur whose scientific name (Dryobalanops aromatica) contributes to our company name. We still want to add 'Landscape Consultant' in our logo because we are so stupid that we can practice only landscape consultancy in our lives and that's our faith given by God.
